Week summary:

22nd April- 26th April 2013

Grade 5:

'Eighth wonder of the World', each group are presenting an argument for the new wonder. They must provide facts in order to convince others to travel there. This also develops presentation skills. 

Grade 6: 

The grade 6 have looked over the use of paragraphs, connectives within our writing and the use of informal and formal language within narrative and formative texts.

Grade 7:

Within communication skills we began to look at apostrophes for ownership, this led to revision for the unit review quiz on Monday.

Grade 8:

Within out new literacy Unit 'Secrets' we looked in to inferencing through text and imagery based on the extract 'Ambush' This developed in to discussion surrounding the morals and ethics of secret keeping.
