The hard work continues from all grades!

Week Review 15th April-19th April 

Grade 5:

Literacy: the group are working hard on presenting their case for the 8th wonder of the world. This must be a concise 3 minute presentation in their own words.

Communication skills: We cover lots this week! I have been so so impressed by all the hard work, we worked through irregular verb use and appositives in our sentences tim improve their quality.

NOTE: Antoine the book cover is still due from last week and could all those who missed work please collect as soon as possible ( Daphne, Abby, Evan, Jesse)



Grade 6:

Focus remains the upcoming PATs and we have been working on reviewing aspects of the functional and narrative questions. This has included revising punctuating dyalogue, paragraph formation using the TiPToP method and connective words within our text. 


Grade 7:

This week has seen the conclusion of our work examining mythological story writing in communication skills. In our literacy lessons the groups continue to develop their board game designs to prototype level, while in novel studies we have begun to look at more in-depth character analysis.


Grade 8:

This week we worked primarily on the 'Earth Day' entry. Submission of photography using the key words:

WATER
