Art Smith Aviation Academy once again has the opportunity to participate in Operation Christmas Child. Each class has been invited to collect items for boys and girls of a specific age range, and these items will then be assembled into shoe box parcels to be sent to countries in need. We are asking for all donation to be made by November 8th.
Students can help out by bringing in empty shoe boxes, appropriate items, or a monetary donation. Families or groups pf students are welcome to fill their own boxes.Shoe boxes can be filled with school supplies, hygiene items ( please place soap in a sealable bag), toys and other gifts. Candy may be included if it is hard and individually wrapped. Please avoid decks of cards, food, chewy/crumbly/soft candy, used items, toothpaste, liquids ( such as shampoos and gels), glass ( including mirrors), and war related toys.As each box will cost $7 to ship, we are hosting a Wacky Hair Day Fundraiser on November 2nd. All donations from this event will go towards Operation Christmas Child.Thank you for your continued support
