Importance of catching up on missed work.

Folks I have to make sure everyone is clear that all missed school days DO impact on final grades if work if not caught up on.

Even missing a single lesson can lower the 20% that classwork carries, bringing down your overall grade at the end of each term.

I fully understand illness and family situations BUT I must make it clear that I am concerned that only ONE PERSON has come to see me this term after missing days.

It is also not OK to approach a teacher the afternoon before you leave and ask for weeks worth of work right there and then. It is your responsibility to make sure you are going round a few days before OR collecting the missed work on your return.

I will not chase you, lessons continue. There have been a few people off, some for long periods of time and I would suggest you go and see your teachers to arrange a time to discuss missed work.
